Peter Stern, who previously served as the vice president of services at Apple, brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Ford. During his time at Apple, he oversaw various services such as Apple TV plus, iCloud storage, Apple Books, the arcade, and fitness operations. His expertise in managing these businesses will undoubtedly be valuable in driving Ford's software-related subscription services.
Stern officially started his new position on Monday and will report directly to Ford CEO Jim Farley. In addition to leading Ford Integrated Services, Stern will also be responsible for expanding Ford's BlueCruise hands-free partially automated driving system. Furthermore, he will focus on enhancing productivity and implementing safety and security services for Ford's customers.
