Gordon Ramsay, the British chef, is on a mission to redeem himself after a culinary fail. In a video posted on Instagram, Ramsay explained that he wanted to make amends for his 2020 grilled cheese sandwich tutorial, which received a lot of criticism. This time, he promised to deliver a grilled cheese like no other.
With a more powerful oven in the form of a sleek Aston Martin sports car, Ramsay stacked cheese slices between two pieces of toasted bread and wrapped the sandwich in aluminum foil. He then placed the wrapped sandwich on top of the car's engine and closed the hood. Ready to go, he revved the engine and took off around the race track.
After a couple of laps, Ramsay retrieved his sandwich and shared the video on Instagram. However, some of his followers were disappointed as the video cut before revealing the results of the grilled cheese sandwich. Despite this, Ramsay's stunt was well-received by many.
In addition to his sandwich redemption, Ramsay will also have another redemption with the return of his popular series Kitchen Nightmares. The show, which originally aired from 2007 to 2014, followed Ramsay as he helped struggling restaurants. After a nearly decade-long hiatus, the reboot of Kitchen Nightmares is highly anticipated, although a premiere date has not yet been announced.
