Grilled Cheese on Aston Martin Engine
【Summary】Gordon Ramsay tries to redeem himself after a failed grilled cheese sandwich by making one on the engine of an Aston Martin. He teases his fans with the powerful oven and then takes off in the car before revealing the results. Many viewers were left disappointed as the video cuts before showing the sandwich. Ramsay's popular show, Kitchen Nightmares, is also set to return after a decade off the air.
Gordon Ramsay, the British chef, is on a mission for redemption. After facing criticism for his grilled cheese sandwich tutorial in Tasmania, Ramsay took to Instagram to explain his new approach. He acknowledged the backlash he received and expressed his desire to give his fans a grilled cheese like no other.
This time, Ramsay revealed that he would be using a more powerful oven, which happened to be in the form of a sleek midnight blue Aston Martin sports car. With excitement, he stacked cheese slices between two pieces of toasted bread and wrapped the sandwich in aluminum foil. Ramsay then lifted the car's hood and placed the sandwich on top.
After closing the hood, Ramsay revved the engine and took off around the race track. After a couple of laps, he retrieved his sandwich and shared the video on Instagram. However, much to the disappointment of his followers, the video ended before revealing the results of the grilled cheese sandwich.
Despite the lack of closure, Ramsay's fans enjoyed the high-octane sandwich-making stunt. Some playfully expressed their frustration at not seeing the final outcome. Meanwhile, Ramsay has another redemption coming up with the return of his popular series, Kitchen Nightmares. After nearly a decade off the air, the show will be back on Fox, where Ramsay helps struggling restaurants.
Ramsay revealed that it was his decision to cancel the show in the first place. He recounted an incident in the South of France where he encountered a British guy running a ski resort who didn't take kindly to Ramsay's advice. This encounter led Ramsay to make the decision to end the show. The Kitchen Nightmares reboot is set to premiere on September 25th at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
