While its conservative design may not be groundbreaking, the CR-V offers a reliable hybrid option similar to the latest Honda Civic. However, it's the plug-in CR-V e:PHEV that stands out as the most promising choice.

With volatile fuel prices and an uncertain economy, many people are seeking value for their money when it comes to their vehicles. The CR-V e:PHEV offers the promise of 51 miles of electric-only driving, making it suitable for shopping trips or quiet school runs in town centers.

The exterior design of the new Honda CR-V is not revolutionary, adhering to the standard SUV shape. However, it is slightly wider and longer than its predecessor, with an extended wheelbase. The car features stylish 18-inch alloys that enhance its overall look. Despite its size, the CR-V e:PHEV manages to avoid feeling bulky.
