Slovenia's Tushek Unveils Powerful Electric and Hybrid Hypercars
【Summary】Slovenian company Tushek has unveiled the Aeon, a custom-built hypercar available in all-electric or plug-in hybrid versions. The all-electric Aeon E delivers over 2,500 hp with a power-to-weight ratio of 1.7:1, while the plug-in hybrid Aeon H generates 1,930 hp with a ratio of 1.3:1. The Aeon focuses on personalization, allowing buyers to fully customize the interior. Tushek plans to announce the production schedule for the limited edition hypercar at a later date.
Slovenia may not be the first country that comes to mind when thinking about supercars, but Aljoša Tušek is determined to change that perception. The former racecar driver is currently manufacturing two electrified hypercars under his company, Tushek, and believes they will make a significant impact in the segment.
One of these hypercars is the Aeon, a custom-built high-performance vehicle that Tushek claims will not only compete but "dominate" the hypercar market. It is available in two powertrain options, both of which offer impressive power-to-weight ratios.
The Aeon E is the all-electric variant, boasting an astonishing power output of over 2,500 hp (1,864 kW/2,535 PS). With a weight of 3,527 lbs (1,600 kg), it achieves a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 1.7:1.
On the other hand, the Aeon H combines a V8 engine with an electric motor to create a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It generates slightly less power, with 1,930 hp (1,439 kW/1,957 PS), but weighs just 3,263 lbs (1,480 kg), resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 1.3:1.
Additional performance details, including the Aeon's groundbreaking aerodynamics and other specifications, will be unveiled in the coming weeks. Inside the vehicle, Tushek emphasizes a personalized experience for each buyer.
Tušek stated, "Aeon heralds a new dawn in hypercar production, with personalization at the forefront. Each vehicle is individually tailored to its owner to create an unparalleled bond. Our launch concept allows customers to fully customize the interior of the vehicle, setting us apart from other suppliers worldwide and ensuring that each vehicle is truly unique."
This is not Tushek's first foray into creating supercars, as they previously produced and sold the TS 900, a 937 hp (698 kW/950 PS) model capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds. The company undoubtedly hopes that their latest model will be even faster.
The Aeon will be a limited edition model, and Tushek plans to announce its production schedule at a later date.
