Improved Buick Wildcat Design Study

The General Motors Design studio recently provided a glimpse into the creation of the first version of the modern Buick Wildcat. This concept car made its debut just over a year ago, showcasing the direction Buick is taking in terms of design. The influence of the Wildcat can already be seen in new models like the 2024 Envista.

In addition to showcasing the Wildcat, Buick's video also serves as a symbolic announcement of the brand's shift away from traditional sedans like the LaCrosse and Regal. Buick is embracing a new era of electrified crossovers, and even has a fresh logo to support this transformation.

Interestingly, the animated car used in the video to convince Buick's management to build the concept appears to be more production-ready than the final product. In our opinion, it is even more attractive than the somewhat radical concept car.
