Toyota Rumion priced at Rs 10.29 lakh, now available for booking

Toyota has officially announced the start of bookings and the prices of the new Toyota Rumion. The MPV is priced at Rs 10.29 lakh onwards, ex-showroom, and is available in six grades. Toyota says that deliveries will commence from the 8th of September onwards.

The Toyota Rumion is offered in various grades with different price points. The S MT (Petrol) variant is priced at Rs 10,29,000, while the S AT (Petrol) variant is priced at Rs 11,89,000. The G MT (Petrol) variant is priced at Rs 11,45,000, the V MT (Petrol) variant is priced at Rs 12,18,000, and the V AT (Petrol) variant is priced at Rs 13,68,000. There is also an S MT (CNG) variant available, which is priced at Rs 11,24,000.

The Toyota Rumion is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine, which produces 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. The CNG version of the engine produces slightly lower power figures, with 87bhp and 122Nm of torque. Both manual and torque converter automatic gearbox options are available for the Rumion.

Inside the Toyota Rumion, you will find a 7-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. The MPV also features Toyota i-Connect, which allows users to control the climate control and other functions remotely. The Rumion comes with connected car technology and other convenient features. The interior of the MPV has a dual-tone design with wood inserts, adding a touch of elegance.

When it comes to safety, the Rumion is equipped with dual front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), among other safety features. The Rumion will face competition from its sibling, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6, as well as the Kia Carens and other vehicles in the same segment.
