Improved Buick Wildcat Design Study
【Summary】The Buick Wildcat Design Study is showcased as a more appealing version compared to the concept car, signaling Buick's shift away from sedans towards electrified crossovers. The video also reveals Buick's new logo to emphasize this transition.
The General Motors Design studio recently provided a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the first version of the modern Buick Wildcat. This concept car made its debut just over a year ago, showcasing Buick's new design direction. This design influence can already be seen in newer models such as the 2024 Envista.
In addition to showcasing the Wildcat EV Concept, Buick used the video introduction to symbolize its departure from traditional sedans like the LaCrosse and Regal. The company is now embracing a new era of electrified crossovers, and it even unveiled a brand-new logo to emphasize this shift.
Interestingly, the animated car featured in the video, which was used to convince Buick's management to pursue the concept, appears to be more production-ready than the final version of the Wildcat. In fact, many believe that the animated car is more visually appealing and less radical than the actual concept car.
