Improved Buick Wildcat Design Study

The General Motors Design studio recently provided a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the initial version of the modern Buick Wildcat, which was unveiled just over a year ago. This Wildcat EV Concept was created by Buick to showcase its future design direction, and we can already see elements of it being incorporated into new models such as the 2024 Envista.

In addition to showcasing the Wildcat, Buick also took the opportunity in the video to symbolically announce its shift away from traditional sedans like the LaCrosse and Regal, and towards a new era of electrified crossovers. To emphasize this change, Buick even introduced a brand new logo.

Interestingly, the animated car featured in the video, which was used to convince Buick's management to pursue the concept, appears to be more production-ready compared to the final version. In our opinion, it is even more visually appealing than the somewhat radical concept itself.
