ATS Euromaster has launched a new app that allows drivers to book mobile tyre work for their fleet vehicles in real time. The app offers greater visibility and certainty on booking times, allowing drivers to choose a slot that meets their own timescales. The app also provides improved communication with drivers through SMS messaging or emails, offering updates on job progress and completion times. ATS Euromaster expects the app to account for 50% of all mobile tyre fitting requests in the future.

Cap HPI has introduced new data called Lifecycle Emissions, which allows fleets to report on the carbon footprint of their vehicles over their entire lifetime. The data covers all stages, including production and recycling, and enables companies to provide customers with increased transparency and meet Scope 3 requirements. The data will be available in Cap HPI's New Vehicle Data product and through the company's consulting team.

Brightmile has released an update to its driver safety app in partnership with Drivetech. The app intervenes when a driver performs an unsafe action, such as speeding, by providing e-learning content designed to change risky behaviour. The update includes improved e-learning features, a single risk score for drivers, vehicle safety checks, incident reports, and an updated driver rewards system.

Sopp+Sopp has launched the Activate Initiate app, an electronic notification of loss (eNOL) app that aims to improve incident reporting times and claims efficiency. The app allows drivers to submit quick and accurate incident reports, supporting repair triage, early total loss identification, liability assessments, and engineering assessments. The app can be accessed through a link or by scanning a QR code in the vehicle.

Samsara has revealed that the majority of fleets are implementing new AI solutions to improve road safety and upskill their driver workforce. However, privacy concerns remain a key issue for drivers. Samsara suggests that driver concerns over privacy and AI can be addressed through education on how video data is captured and uploaded, proactive leadership communication, involving drivers in safety policy creation, restricting access to camera footage, and providing examples of how AI has helped with driver exoneration for incidents.

Targa Telematics has signed a strategic partnership with Renault to integrate data from Renault and Dacia vehicles. The partnership will enable Targa Telematics to capture fleet data without the need for aftermarket hardware and develop innovative connected mobility solutions. Targa Telematics has also announced a collaboration with TCH Leasing to provide proactive service maintenance by offering real-time alerts about the vehicle's condition in advance.
