Keith Richards' Classic Ferrari Goes Up For Auction

The story behind this iconic car is just as captivating as the vehicle itself. In 1972, Keith Richards, the legendary musician, acquired this Ferrari in California. It quickly became a trusted companion during the Rolling Stones' European tours, accumulating an impressive mileage of over 25,000.

Finished in a stunning Argento Metallizzato exterior and complemented by Nero Connolly leather, this car exudes classic charm. Its Veglia Borletti instrumentation in miles adds to its timeless appeal. Furthermore, the car boasts several period-correct modifications, such as a Momo Prototipo steering wheel and a Blaupunkt radio.

In 1986, Richards decided to part ways with his beloved Ferrari, selling it to a private collection in Japan. However, the car made a triumphant return to Europe in 2014 when it found a new home with Liam Howlett, the co-founder of the EDM band The Prodigy. Under Howlett's care, the car underwent an extensive restoration in 2015. The V6 engine was meticulously rebuilt, and the exterior was refreshed by the skilled specialists at Joe Macari Performance Cars of London.
