The story behind this iconic car is just as captivating as the vehicle itself. It all began in 1972 when Keith Richards, the legendary musician, acquired the Ferrari in California. Little did he know that this car would become his trusted companion during the Rolling Stones' European tours, accumulating an impressive 25,000 miles along the way.
Finished in a stunning Argento Metallizzato exterior and complemented by Nero Connolly leather, this Ferrari exudes a timeless charm. Its classic appeal is further enhanced by the Veglia Borletti instrumentation in miles, adding a touch of nostalgia to the overall design. Additionally, the car boasts several period-correct modifications, such as a Momo Prototipo steering wheel and a Blaupunkt radio.
After many years of enjoyment, Keith Richards decided to part ways with his beloved Ferrari in 1986, selling it to a private collection in Japan. However, this was not the end of the car's journey. In 2014, it made a triumphant return to Europe and found a new home with Liam Howlett, the co-founder of the EDM band The Prodigy. Recognizing the car's significance, Howlett embarked on a meticulous restoration project in 2015.
Under the expert care of Joe Macari Performance Cars of London, the Ferrari's V6 engine was rebuilt with utmost precision, ensuring that it would once again purr with power. The exterior was also refreshed, bringing back its original luster and shine. Today, this automotive gem continues to captivate enthusiasts with its rich history and impeccable craftsmanship.
