It shares a similar size with the Sportage and features striking LED lighting that wraps around the front fascia and under the hood. Instead of a traditional grille, Kia's digital 'Tiger Face' takes its place, and the three-dimensional Signature Star Map Lighting draws inspiration from starry constellations. Like its larger counterpart, the EV5 boasts flush-fitting door handles and a rising beltline from the C-pillar. The car also showcases wide shoulder lines, powerful fenders, and pushed-back D-pillars.

At the rear, the taillights of the EV5 stretch across the body, contrasting with the EV9 where they are positioned higher up alongside the back window.
