The 2024 Lexus LM is now officially available in Europe and the UK, six months after its initial unveiling. To showcase the luxurious minivan, the automaker has released an extensive media gallery.
In Europe, customers have the option to choose between a four-seat or seven-seat variant of the 2024 LM. The four-seat version is considered the most luxurious, with rear seats inspired by first-class airline cabins. These seats are designed to reduce head-sway, improve posture, and can be fully reclined for optimal comfort.
The rear seats also come with various features, including a tilt function to prevent sliding during braking, heated and ventilated functions, and seven in-seat massage options. Made with semi-aniline leather, the seats also have extended ottomans. The seven-seat variant includes VIP seats in the second row and flip-up seats in the third row in a two-plus-one configuration.
Lexus has incorporated several features to give the LM a private jet-like experience. This includes a 23-speaker Mark Levinson 3D surround system and a 48-inch ultra-widescreen monitor in the four-seat version. Active Noise Control and noise-reducing wheels and tires further enhance the luxury. The four-seat model also has a five-layer headlining, while the seven-seat model features a slightly smaller 21-speaker audio system and a 14-inch drop-down screen in the ceiling.
The driver and front-seat passenger are not forgotten, with features such as a 14-inch infotainment display, Qi wireless charger, USB-C ports, ambient lighting, a digital rear-view mirror, and a 10-inch head-up display.
All models sold in Europe and the UK will be in LM 350h guise. Left-hand drive models come with all-wheel drive as standard, while British customers can choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The LM is powered by a 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain, producing 247 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and has a top speed of 190 km/h. The LM offers various driving modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, and Custom.
The LM is equipped with an array of safety features, including emergency steering assist, adaptive cruise control, proactive driving assist, a driver monitor, lane change assistance, and front-cross traffic alert.
Lexus has implemented its Braking Posture Control system in the LM, which controls vehicle roll and pitch under braking by adjusting the front-rear distribution of braking force. The car also features Smooth Stop Control to reduce the rocking sensation when coming to a stop. The suspension, consisting of MacPherson struts at the front and rear double wishbones with trailing arms at the rear, maximizes occupant comfort and includes Frequency Sensitive Valves for optimal damper performance.
Pricing details for the LM in each market have not yet been announced by Lexus. However, the starting price in the UK is £89,995 ($109,680), and the highest-priced model is £112,995 ($137,710).
