【Summary】McLaren celebrates its 60th anniversary with a thrilling drifting video featuring the Artura supercars. The performance highlights the company's skill and passion for racing.
McLaren is marking its 60th anniversary this year by embracing its status as a supercar maker in true style: with tire smoke and engine revving. In a recently released video, two Mclaren Artura supercars take to the track, showcasing their impressive drifting and tailsliding abilities. The hybrids gracefully slide around, demonstrating their poise and flair, before the camera pans out to reveal the number 60, symbolizing the company's six decades of existence.
The company's journey began in September 1963 when Bruce McLaren, an engineer and race car designer, founded the firm. Born in New Zealand in 1937, McLaren quickly made a name for himself in the racing world, achieving notable victories such as winning the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.
A year after his triumph in Monaco, McLaren established Bruce McLaren Motor Racing Ltd, which has since evolved into the renowned McLaren brand we know today.
