McLaren's Impressive Drifting Video Marks 60 Years

McLaren is marking its 60th anniversary this year in a way that befits a renowned supercar manufacturer: with a display of tire smoke and engine roars. To commemorate the milestone, McLaren has released a captivating video featuring two Mclaren Artura supercars. These hybrid vehicles showcase their prowess by executing perfectly choreographed drifts and tailslides on the track. As the camera pans out, the number 60 comes into view, symbolizing the company's six decades of existence.

The roots of McLaren can be traced back to September 1963 when Bruce McLaren, an engineer and race car designer, founded the company. Born in New Zealand in 1937, McLaren quickly made a name for himself in the racing world. Notably, he achieved victory in the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix in 1962. Just a year later, McLaren established Bruce McLaren Motor Racing Ltd, which eventually evolved into the McLaren we know today.
