Neighbour's Porsche ruined after revenge for driving through garden
【Summary】A neighbour drove through a garden to park his Porsche, angering the homeowners. In retaliation, they installed a metal fence on their property line, causing damage to the neighbour's car. The neighbour's car also damaged the newly installed fence, resulting in a police ticket for the neighbour. Social media users praised the homeowners for standing up to the entitled neighbour.
A social media user has gained praise for seeking revenge on his "entitled" neighbor who would drive through his garden to park his cars. The neighbor, named Richard, used to park his Porsche in the backyard and would drive beyond the separation line of the two houses to do so.
Fed up with Richard's inconsiderate behavior, the user took action to prevent it from happening again. Recounting the tale on Reddit, the user, @LnGass, explained that his parents had lived in the same house for 50 years and had three neighbors on the north side during that time.
The first neighbor was a hermit named Elenore, who passed away when the user was in high school. After a few years, Richard bought the property and became their new neighbor.
One day, the user returned home to find Richard cutting down their bushes, claiming they were encroaching on his property. This shocked the user, as their previous neighbor Elenore had never had a problem with it. The user and his father confronted Richard, informing him that the bushes were theirs and expressing their unhappiness about his actions.
However, Richard didn't care and insisted that he needed to cut down the bushes to park his cars in the backyard. The user's father suggested that Richard could use the curb cut on the other side of his house for direct access to the backyard, as originally intended by the builder. But Richard stormed off and the next day, the bushes were gone.
With the bushes removed, Richard began driving his cars through the user's property and into the backyard. The frustrated neighbors confronted Richard about his behavior, but he disregarded their concerns.
In response, the neighbors decided to install a metal fence to clearly mark the property line and prevent Richard from damaging their lawn. They placed the fence posts 5 inches on their side of the property line, making it difficult for Richard to maneuver his cars past them.
When Richard returned home and saw the new fence, he expressed his anger through cursing and yelling for several hours. He managed to get one of his cars out, but not without causing serious damage to the side, leaving noticeable scrapes along the car.
Richard's abrupt response not only damaged his car but also caused the newly installed fence to lean toward the neighbors' property. To add to his dismay, the neighbors called the police and reported the damage, resulting in Richard receiving a ticket.
Users on Reddit flooded the comments section with praise for the courageous neighbors, agreeing that Richard's behavior was unacceptable. Some even suggested taking legal action over the bushes, while others shared negative experiences with people named Richard.
