Pininfarina made a big splash at Monterey Car Week with the introduction of a stunning new convertible hypercar. This exclusive vehicle, named the B95, comes with a hefty price tag of $4.78 million and will only be produced in a limited run of 10 units.
The B95 showcases Pininfarina's new PURA design philosophy, combining classic elements with modern technology. The car's sleek and muscular body is finished in a glossy Bronzo Superga paint with gold metallic flakes, and features black exposed carbon detailing. The open-top body, denoted by the "B" in its name, adds to the car's retro-futuristic appeal.
One notable feature of the B95 is its innovative windshield replacement. Instead of a traditional windshield, the car is equipped with electronically adjustable aero screens. These clear polycarbonate panels, inspired by vintage fighter planes, can be raised or lowered by the driver to optimize airflow while maintaining the car's minimalist design.
Under the hood, the B95 shares the same powertrain as the Battista hyper GT, but with some tuning by Pininfarina. The electric vehicle boasts four individual motors, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. Its 120 kWh lithium-ion battery can be charged from 20% to 80% capacity in just 25 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Inside the cabin, the B95 offers a luxurious and customizable experience. Tan leather covers the sculptural dashboard and enveloping race seats, creating a sense of elegance. The interior also features black aluminum accents to complement the car's exterior design.
What sets the B95 apart is the opportunity for customization. Each of the 10 examples will be unique, allowing collectors to personalize their vehicles. From laser-engraved aluminum door plates to bespoke helmets, owners can tailor the B95 to their individual tastes.
The Pininfarina B95 is a true masterpiece that combines timeless design with cutting-edge technology. With its limited production and high price, this convertible hypercar is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
