Pininfarina made a big splash at Monterey Car Week by unveiling a stunning new hypercar without a roof. This handcrafted beauty, called the B95, comes with a hefty price tag of $4.78 million and will only have 10 units available.
But exclusivity is not the only thing that sets this car apart. The B95 showcases Pininfarina's new PURA design philosophy, combining classic proportions and intricate details with the latest technological advancements. The body of the car, finished in glossy Bronzo Superga paint with gold metallic flakes, features sleek lines and black exposed carbon detailing.
Instead of a traditional windshield, the B95 is equipped with "the world's first electronically adjustable aero screens." These clear polycarbonate panels, inspired by vintage fighter planes, can be raised or lowered by the driver, ensuring a comfortable open-top driving experience even at high speeds.
Under the hood, the B95 shares the same powertrain as the Battista hyper GT, but with some tuning by Pininfarina. With four individual motors, this electric vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. It also comes with a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged from 20% to 80% capacity in just 25 minutes.
Inside the cabin, the B95 boasts a sculptural dashboard and race seats covered in tan leather. The interior is further enhanced with touches of black aluminum, creating a seamless connection between the inside and outside of the car.
What makes each of the 10 B95 examples truly special is that they can be customized to the owner's preferences. From laser-engraved aluminum door plates to bespoke helmets, collectors have the opportunity to make their B95 truly unique.
