【Summary】The Continental Russia plant has been renamed Cordiant Kaluga after being acquired by S8 Capital. The company will focus on tyre production at the Kaluga plant.

Following the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by S8 Capital, the tyre manufacturing facility in Kaluga has undergone a name change. Previously known as LLC Continental Kaluga, it is now called LLC Cordiant Kaluga. The change in legal name became effective on 17 August 2023. As a result of this acquisition, LLC Cordiant Kaluga will be primarily responsible for tyre production at the former Continental plant located in Kaluga, which is approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow.
