Renault Trucks has given a facelift to its urban and regional range trucks, which now include special features for electric models. The new design draws inspiration from both the manufacturer's Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) and Heavy-Duty ranges, creating a bridge between the two domains. The Renault Trucks D, D Wide, C 2.3, and Renault Trucks E-Tech D, D Wide, and D Wide LEC have all been updated.
In addition to the facelift, Renault Trucks has added a range of new safety equipment to enhance the protection of drivers and road users. This is an important step in ensuring the safety of everyone on the roads.
The design teams at Renault Trucks have given the vehicles in the D & D Wide range a facelift in order to establish a clear visual link between the brand's Heavy-Duty vehicles and LCVs. The new design features full LED headlights that produce a new C-shaped signature, borrowed from the car industry, creating an aesthetic connection with commercial vehicles. The radiator grille also provides a generous space for the operator to showcase its own visual identity.
The electric versions of the Renault Trucks E-Tech D, D Wide, and D Wide LEC have a fully painted front, including the grille, which creates a distinctive visual difference. The grille is also adorned with a slender "E-Tech" band that highlights its gradient graphic styling.
Renault Trucks' urban and regional range trucks are frequently used in densely populated city centers where space is limited. To address this, Renault Trucks has equipped its trucks with new safety features to reduce driver stress and enhance safety for both the driver and other road users. The grab handles and rear-view mirrors have been adjusted to improve line-of-sight, making it easier to navigate narrow streets. The vehicles are also equipped with radars and cameras that provide real-time information and alert the driver if necessary, further contributing to safer and easier driving.
Additionally, the trucks now feature automatic tyre pressure monitoring, lane departure warning, a lane-keeping system, and speeding alerts to significantly enhance on-road safety. Improved visibility and safe driving are ensured with the addition of new rear-view mirrors.
