Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail: The Luxurious £25M Masterpiece

Rolls-Royce has unveiled a one-of-a-kind car called 'La Rose Noire' Droptail, which is the world's most expensive and exclusive new car. The car was commissioned by a super-rich couple from a prominent international family with a deep connection to France. The design of the car is inspired by the Black Baccara Rose, which has a personal association for the family. The car changes color depending on how it is viewed and features a specially created 'True Love' shade of dark red paint. It also includes unique features such as a removeable low-slung hard-top, complex wood parquetry inlays, a luxury timepiece, and a Rolls-Royce champagne chest and cooler.

The La Rose Noire Droptail was presented to the client and her family at a private event during Monterey Car Week. Although the wealthy commissioning client and her family have not been named, there are clues to their potential identity, including their love of cars, fashion, art, and champagne. The car was designed in close cooperation with the client and her family and represents their passion for detail and glamour. It is one of only four Droptail models that will be built, each one unique in its styling and bespoke details.

The Droptail is a dramatic and luxurious car, measuring 5.3 meters long, 2 meters wide, and 1.5 meters high. It features a raised rear tail, a rakishly shallow windscreen, and a removable low-slung hard-top that transforms it from an open-top roadster into a coupe. The car is powered by a 593bhp 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine and can accelerate from 0-62mph in around five seconds. It rides on 22-inch wheels and has a top speed of 155mph.

The interior of the La Rose Noire Droptail is just as luxurious as the exterior. It features intricate wood parquetry inlays that represent stylized rose petals and took nearly two years to create. The cabin also includes a removable luxury timepiece from Audemars Piguet, which can be worn as a wristwatch. The seats are covered in a combination of reds and a copper shimmer finish. The car also includes a Rolls-Royce champagne chest and cooler to carry the clients' special edition Champagne de Lossy.
