【Summary】The Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 long-term test aimed to determine if the vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. However, it was found that the sporty performance badge did not achieve this goal. Despite this, the Skoda Enyaq vRS is still considered a great electric vehicle, offering all the qualities one would want from a family crossover. Skoda Enyaq Coupe vRS 2023 extended evaluation

When we decided to run a Skoda Enyaq vRS as part of Autocar's long-term test fleet, our goal was to determine if the vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. However, after spending time with the Enyaq vRS, it became clear that it couldn't quite live up to that expectation.

Adding an extra motor, increasing the power, and incorporating sporty design elements did not result in the same level of practicality, performance, and fun that Skoda's vRS line is known for. So, in terms of delivering on the promise of a sporty performance EV, the Enyaq vRS fell short.

However, here's the interesting part - I don't really mind. Despite not meeting the expectations set by the vRS badge, the Enyaq vRS is still a fantastic electric vehicle. It offers everything you would want from a family crossover, whether it's electric or not.

Visually, the Enyaq vRS Coupe is quite striking. It stands out from its SUV sibling, resembling more of a slightly oversized saloon. This unique design adds to its appeal and sets it apart from other electric cars on the market.
