When Autocar adds a car to its long-term test fleet, they always outline the reasons for running the car. In the case of the Skoda Enyaq vRS, the goal was to see if the vRS badge could make an electric car exciting. However, it turns out that it can't.

Despite adding an extra motor, increasing the power, and adding sporty features, the Skoda Enyaq vRS doesn't offer the same blend of practicality, performance, and fun that the vRS line is known for. So, the question of whether the vRS badge can make an electric car exciting has been answered with a "no".

But here's the interesting part - it doesn't really matter. The Skoda Enyaq vRS may not be a great performance EV, but it is a great EV overall. When you remove the expectations created by the vRS badges, the Enyaq vRS still delivers everything you would want from a family crossover, whether it's electric or not.

In terms of its appearance, the Enyaq vRS Coupe stands out with its distinct design. It looks more like a slightly oversized saloon than its SUV sibling.
