The Japan Motor Show, formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show, is currently taking place in Tokyo until November 5, 2023. This biennial event is making a comeback after four years and features over 400 companies, brands, and businesses.

One of the main highlights of the show is the presence of carmakers, who are not only showcasing their car models but also presenting technologies that will shape the future of transportation. With the exception of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and BYD, all major Japanese car brands are represented, led by Toyota.

Toyota has adopted a holistic and diverse approach to the issue of electrification. Instead of focusing on a one-size-fits-all solution, the company is tailoring its offerings to the specific needs of different markets. This approach aims to provide practical and meaningful solutions for each market.

It remains to be seen whether Toyota's strategy will be successful in the long run. However, in the meantime, Toyota and its luxury brand Lexus have unveiled a lineup of exciting car models that are expected to gain more attention in the coming months and years.
