Yesterday, Volkswagen took to social media to post a video of a white rabbit, accompanied by a message that said, "Everyone likes cats. We like them, too. But today, we want to honor the rabbit – for good reason."

Today, Volkswagen announced that they have been working on a special vehicle and that more details will be revealed soon. A countdown suggests that the mysterious vehicle will be unveiled in six days, on September 3.

While Volkswagen has not provided any official information, there are a few possibilities that come to mind. Spy photographers spotted a hotter Golf R undergoing testing, equipped with canards. Sources have only referred to it as a "special" car.
