2023 car releases

Looking for a new car in 2023? This comprehensive guide has got you covered. We've compiled a list of all the major model launches happening over the next 12 months, ranging from supercars to superminis, electric cars to V12s, and hybrids to hot hatchbacks. It's an exciting time for the automotive industry, with a growing number of electric vehicles hitting the market. Are you ready to make the switch?

Let's take a look at some of the cars arriving in August 2023. One of the most anticipated releases is the Jeep Avenger, which will be Jeep's first electric vehicle. As the smallest SUV they've produced, the Avenger comes with a 54kWh battery that offers up to 249 miles of range and can charge at speeds of up to 100kW. It will be available in both single- and dual-motor versions, although power outputs have yet to be revealed. Jeep has also announced plans to introduce three more electric models in Europe by 2025.

In September 2023, McLaren will be launching the 750S, replacing the popular 720S. This updated model will be available in both coupé and Spider variants, boasting a power increase to 740bhp. McLaren aims to set a new benchmark in the supercar segment with a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 579bhp per tonne. Additionally, the 750S is the lightest series-production McLaren road car to date, weighing just 79kg more than the Senna hypercar.

Peugeot is also making waves in 2023 with several exciting releases. The Peugeot 208 receives a facelift, featuring a more imposing grille, hypercar-inspired daytime-running lights, and the introduction of two hybrid powertrains. The electric e-208 model has been upgraded with a new motor and battery, resulting in increased range and efficiency.

Another Peugeot model getting a refresh is the 508. This stylish saloon receives similar updates to the 208 and 2008, including refreshed looks and significant interior upgrades. While there may be cheaper alternatives available, the Peugeot 508 PSE PHEV version offers a thrilling driving experience with its old-school power delivery.

Lastly, the new Peugeot 2008 undergoes a style refresh and receives modifications to its powertrain lineup. The all-electric variant of the 2008 gets major upgrades, and both petrol and electric power options will be available from launch. A hybrid variant is also on the horizon for 2024. The electric Peugeot e-2008 model sees a significant power boost, thanks to a more powerful electric motor and a larger 54kWh battery, similar to the updated e-208.
