2024 Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition Marks the End of ICE-Powered Sports Cars
【Summary】Jaguar has unveiled the new F-Type ZP Edition, which will be the company's final ICE-powered sports car. Inspired by the E-Type ZP Collection, the limited edition model features exclusive design elements and comes in two color combinations. Only 150 units will be produced, each equipped with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 567 bhp. Pricing details and market availability have not been announced yet.
The new Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition pays homage to the E-Type ZP Collection with its exclusive design elements inspired by the 1960s E-Type racers. Available in both Coupe and Convertible body styles, shoppers can choose between two color combinations: Oulton Blue Gloss exterior with Mars Red and Ebony bi-tone leather interior, or Crystal Gray Gloss with Navy Blue and Ebony.
Regardless of the color chosen, all cars feature the same styling tweaks. These include hand-painted Porcelain White Gloss racing-style roundels on the doors and grille surround, as well as glossy black accents. The limited edition sports car also comes with 20-inch forged alloys and special branding on the fenders.
Inside, the F-Type ZP Edition boasts additional special touches such as a special SV Bespoke commissioning plaque that reads 'One of 150.' Jaguar plans to produce only 150 units of this model, so interested buyers should secure a build slot by placing a deposit soon.
The F-Type ZP Edition builds on the P575 model, retaining the same V8 engine. Powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged unit paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, it delivers 567 bhp (423 kilowatts) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph (300 kph).
The combined fuel economy of the F-Type ZP Edition is 25.3-24.8 mpg-US (9.3-9.5 l/100 km), with carbon dioxide emissions ranging from 212-218 g/km. Pricing details and market availability for this model have not been released by Jaguar. However, in the United States, the F-Type R75 Coupe, which shares the same supercharged V8 with AWD, has an MSRP of $113,000. The F-Type R-Dynamic and 75 models start at $77,900 and $89,900, respectively.
