The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB is receiving a minor revision, including updates to its grille, front bumper, headlights, and taillights. The cabin also sees changes with a new steering wheel and the addition of "sound experiences" that play while driving.

Mercedes-Benz has been busy refreshing its SUV lineup for the 2024 model year, with the GLA, GLB, GLE, and GLS already receiving updates. Now, the electric EQB SUV is getting a nip and tuck with a revised grille, new lighting elements, and a modernized interior.

The front end of the EQB has been redesigned to match Mercedes' other electric vehicles. The grille now features a star pattern and a light bar runs along the top, connecting the daytime running lights. The front bumper has also been reshaped, and the taillight graphic has been updated.

Inside, the EQB now has a new steering wheel with haptic controls. Mercedes has also introduced "sound experiences" that create artificial noise during acceleration and deceleration, although this feature is only available with the Burmester surround-sound system. Additional sound profiles can be purchased online after the car is delivered.

The infotainment system has been updated with the latest software and offers three visual layouts: "Subtle," "Sporty," and "Classic." The voice assistant has also been improved, and the Burmester stereo now includes Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio. The EQB is equipped with new cameras to enhance the driver-assistance systems.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB will be available for sale in the U.S. in the first half of next year. While pricing has not been announced, it is expected to be slightly higher than the previous model year, which started in the mid-$50K to mid-$60K range.
