The Mercedes-Benz EQB is set to receive a minor revision for the 2024 model year. The updated version will feature a new grille, front bumper, and updated headlights and taillights.

In addition to the exterior changes, the cabin of the EQB will also see some updates. A new steering wheel will be introduced, and the EQB will now come with "sound experiences" that play while driving.

Mercedes-Benz has been busy refreshing its SUV lineup for the 2024 model year. Earlier this year, the GLA, GLB, GLE, and GLS all received light updates. Now, the German automaker is turning its attention to the electric EQB SUV.

The visual changes to the EQB are minimal but significant. The front end has been revised to better align with the rest of Mercedes' electric vehicle lineup. The grille now features a star pattern and a light bar runs along the top, connecting the daytime running lights. The front bumper has also been reshaped, and the taillight graphic has been updated with parallel lines.

Inside the EQB, there are notable changes as well. The new steering wheel features haptic controls, and the car now offers two "sound experiences" that create artificial noise during acceleration and deceleration. These sound experiences are only available with the Burmester surround-sound system.

The infotainment system has also been updated with the latest software. It now offers three visual layouts to choose from, referred to as "Subtle," "Sporty," and "Classic." The voice assistant has been improved, and the Burmester stereo now features Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio quality. The EQB also comes with a new multipurpose camera and a new backup camera to enhance the driver-assistance systems.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB is expected to go on sale in the U.S. during the first half of next year. While pricing has not been announced yet, it is anticipated that the starting prices will only slightly increase compared to the outgoing model year, which ranged from mid-$50K to mid-$60K.
