The highly anticipated 2024 Skoda Superb is set to be unveiled today, showcasing a stunning new design, upgraded interior, and a complete technological overhaul.

Ahead of the official reveal, Skoda released a series of sketches giving a glimpse of the car's sleek proportions in both estate and saloon versions. The new design incorporates elements from Skoda's 'Modern Solid' design language, including sharper headlights, improved headroom, and enhanced practicality.

Earlier this year, Skoda provided a sneak peek of the Superb's interior, which has undergone a comprehensive transformation. The popular model will feature customizable rotary controllers, a new infotainment system, and the use of more sustainable materials.

One standout feature that is likely to appeal to buyers is the retention of rotary dials. Positioned below the 13.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, these dials come with a 32mm digital display and offer ergonomic functionality. The two outer dials can be used to control seat heating and interior temperature, while the center dial allows adjustment of infotainment volume, fan speed, air conditioning, driving modes, and sat-nav zoom.

In addition to these updates, the Superb will also offer four USB-C ports, massage seats, four-way adjustable lumbar support, and a relocated gear selector on the steering column.

The fully revealed Superb, which has already been tested in prototype form, is expected to hit the market towards the end of 2023. It will be available with a range of petrol, diesel, and electrified hybrid options.

Skoda has emphasized the importance of its internal combustion engine (ICE) models as it transitions towards becoming an all-electric car manufacturer. The company recognizes that different markets are adopting e-mobility at varying rates, and its ICE models continue to meet the needs of customers during this transition.

Alongside the Superb, Skoda has plans to refresh other popular models, including the Octavia, Kamiq, and Scala, all of which are scheduled to be released by 2026. Additionally, a second-generation Skoda Kodiaq is also in the pipeline.
