Over the years, the Tesla Model 3 has faced harsh criticism for its low-quality interior bits and pieces, sloppy fit and finish, and a cabin that felt cheap for a supposed 'premium' sedan. However, with the latest update, it seems that Tesla is addressing these concerns and bringing the Model 3 more in line with its premium designation.

One of the notable changes in the Model 3 is the introduction of new seats. These seats now come with ventilation alongside heating capabilities, and higher quality materials have been used throughout the cabin. The demo model used in the European presentation showcased the removal of the out-of-place wood trim and the addition of a new steering wheel with more controls. The traditional stalks and levers behind the wheel have been eliminated, and gear selection is now done through the large screen. Additionally, integrated ambient lighting adds a touch of style to the cabin, and new sound-deadening materials have been incorporated to enhance the overall driving experience.

The 15-inch screen, which handles all the infotainment duties, remains unchanged in the updated Model 3. However, rear-seat passengers now have access to a new eight-inch screen for climate control, ventilation, and multimedia playback. In terms of entertainment, a new sound system has been introduced, with the Long Range version featuring a 17-speaker setup and the base model equipped with a nine-speaker system.

The center console of the Model 3 has also received a new design. It is now topped with aluminum and provides wireless charging capabilities for two devices. As for cargo and trunk space, it is expected to remain the same as the previous model, with a total of 23 cubic feet of space, including the frunk.

Furthermore, the interior materials and colors in the Model 3 have been updated, although specific details are still limited. It has been confirmed that the upholstery now features perforation, but the available options have not been fully disclosed.
