【Summary】The upcoming 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron, an electric sedan, was recently spotted in Europe. It features a disguised exterior with a fully enclosed grille, split lighting units, and angular intakes. The car has a streamlined design with soft curves, flush-mounted door handles, and slender taillights. Inside, it may have a digital instrument cluster and infotainment system similar to the Q6 e-tron.
The production model of the Audi A6 e-tron is getting closer to reality, as a prototype was recently spotted in Europe. The electric sedan is heavily disguised, but some design details can be seen. It features a fully enclosed grille and split lighting units similar to the upcoming Q6 e-tron. The car has angular intakes, a wide central opening with a honeycomb mesh insert, and streamlined bodywork with soft curves and flowing surfaces. The rear of the car has slender taillights, an integrated spoiler, a sporty diffuser, and a stepped rear bumper.
Although the interior hasn't been revealed yet, it is speculated that the A6 e-tron might have a similar setup to the Q6 e-tron. This could include an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster that flows into a 14.5-inch infotainment system. Additionally, there might be a 10.9-inch front passenger display with shutter technology to prevent distractions for the driver.
Both the A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron will be built on the all-new PPE platform. The Q6 e-tron is expected to have a 100 kWh battery pack powering a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with around 375 hp. This setup should give the Q6 e-tron a range of approximately 373 miles in the WLTP cycle. For those seeking more performance, there will also be an SQ6 e-tron with around 483 hp, and possibly a high-performance RS6 e-tron in the future.
Originally planned for release this year, the Audi A6 e-tron is now expected to debut in 2024. As the production model nears completion, more details about its specifications and features will likely be revealed.
