Adam Driver's Transformation in Ferrari Trailer

Adam Driver is taking on the role of Italian sports car entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari in Michael Mann's new film Ferrari, and the first glimpse of him in action has left fans amazed. The acclaimed filmmaker has assembled a stellar cast for his racing drama, including Penelope Cruz as Ferrari's wife Laura, Shailene Woodley as his mistress Lina Lardi, Patrick Dempsey as driver Piero Taruffi, Sarah Gadon, and Gabriel Leone.

In the trailer, Driver is seen predominantly as the older Ferrari, sporting a grey wig with a receding hairline and wearing black sunglasses and sharp grey suits. Fans have expressed their excitement for Driver's transformation, with one fan saying, "Adam Driver looks incredible as Ferrari." Others couldn't resist making puns with his surname.

The film's trailer showcases the story of Enzo Ferrari set in 1957, with scenes of racing cars and domestic moments between Driver and Cruz and Driver and Woodley. The trailer also features Ferrari himself behind the wheel, speeding through Rome. At the end of the trailer, Driver's character is heard saying, "If you get into one of my cars, you get into win."

Ferrari premiered at the Venice Film Festival and Driver was able to attend the event to promote the movie due to an interim agreement with Sag-Aftra. The current US actors' union strike prohibits promotional activities by its members, but certain films have been granted permission to involve actors in some parts of their publicity. Ferrari is being distributed by Neon in the US and will hit UK cinemas on December 26.

It remains unclear whether any of Driver's co-stars will join him on the red carpet at the festival. The film's release on Sky Cinema is scheduled for 2024.
