Kwaku Ananse hitmaker, Amerado, has expressed his refusal to succumb to public pressure to live a flashy lifestyle just to please others. In a recent interview with MX24TV, Amerado revealed that his course mates have questioned his decision to pursue a university education, assuming that as a celebrity, he doesn't need it.

Amerado clarified that he will not live a fake life, including driving a Range Rover, when he cannot afford it. He emphasized that he prioritizes taking care of his mother's needs over societal expectations. Despite being known as a struggling artist from Kumasi, Amerado remains grounded and focused on his personal journey.

He shared an anecdote about his classmates approaching him after a class, inquiring about his wealth and possessions. Amerado responded by explaining that he values knowledge and education above materialistic displays. He acknowledged that being a celebrity comes with certain expectations, such as owning a luxury car, but he refuses to let these perceptions define him.

Amerado emphasized that his priority is to provide for his mother, and he won't compromise on that for the sake of other people's expectations. He stressed that he lives his life as a normal person, giving when he has and seeking when he doesn't. Amerado remains committed to his personal growth and success, regardless of societal pressures.
