Aston Martin Vantage GT3 spotted in green camouflage during testing
【Summary】Aston Martin is testing the updated Vantage GT3, which features a green camo wrap and new cooling modifications. The refreshed GT3 will comply with the new LMGT3 rules and is set to debut in the 2024 World Endurance Championship.
Aston Martin has been making headlines with its plans for the Valkyrie at Le Mans in 2025, but the company's GT3 and GT4 program is also getting an update. Images of the refreshed Vantage GT3 have recently surfaced, showing off a bold green camo wrap and unique headlight motifs. Although the changes beneath the camo may not be drastic, there is noticeable increased cooling at the back behind the rear wheelarches.
The design of the GT3 had to evolve to comply with the new LMGT3 rules, which will replace the GTE class in the World Endurance Championship and at Le Mans next season. The GT3 is currently in its final testing phase and is set to compete against the C8.Rs, RSR-19s, and 488 GTE Evos in the 2024 WEC opener. After that, it will take on the challenge of Pikes Peak.
