Superlatives like "iconic" and "legendary" are often overused in marketing, causing consumers to become jaded by the constant hyperbole. However, Bentley's new program, Bentley Extraordinary Journeys, lives up to its name. The concept is simple: guests meet at a designated location, pick up a fleet of Bentleys, and embark on a scenic drive to a specific destination.

While this may seem like something that could be arranged by any car enthusiast with a group of friends and access to Google Maps, Bentley has gone above and beyond to create truly extraordinary adventures. With a network of partners and a deep understanding of the luxury market, Bentley has curated experiences that are truly unique. Plus, participants get to drive a brand-new Bentley.

Currently, there are six planned journeys around the world, including one in Britain. The British journey starts at Bentley's headquarters in Crewe and ends at The Macallan, one of Bentley's long-standing partners. The experience begins with a coffee and croissant at Bentley's CW1 House, a state-of-the-art showroom where Bentley showcases its vision and history to clients. Guests then take a tour of the factory, witnessing the craftsmanship and passion that goes into building these luxury cars.

After the factory tour, guests enjoy lunch at CW1 House before heading to a local hotel to freshen up. Dinner on the first evening is a truly special experience, as guests dine in the factory itself, surrounded by partially-completed vehicles. The evening creates a deeper connection to the brand and builds excitement for the days ahead.

The next day, the journey continues with a drive to Speyside. The fleet consists of Continental GTs and Flying Spurs, providing a luxurious driving experience. Stops along the way include lunch at Grantley Hall, a luxury hotel and spa in the Yorkshire countryside. Bentley's support crew takes care of everything, from refueling the cars to cleaning them overnight, ensuring that each day feels like driving a showroom-fresh vehicle.

The journey then takes guests through the beautiful B-roads of Northumberland, across the border into Scotland, and finally to the Treehouses at Lanrick. This secluded forest hideaway offers tranquility and luxury, with outdoor baths and indoor log fires in each treehouse. The scenic backdrop of the River Teith adds to the overall sense of peace and luxury.

The convoy then roars into the Highlands, passing through the Cairngorms National Park. Lunch is served at The Fife Arms in Braemar, where guests are greeted by a piper and treated to a tour of the hotel's art collection. The journey culminates at The Macallan Estate on Speyside, where guests are given a guided tour of the distillery and a tasting of rare Macallan expressions.

The final dinner takes place at the distillery, offering a taste of northern Scotland's finest cuisine. And to top it all off, a hidden bar reveals a bottle of the exceptional Macallan 30-year-old whisky for a final digestif.

Overall, the Extraordinary Journey UK programme by Bentley is a truly exceptional experience. Priced at £14,950 per person, based on two people sharing, it offers a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines luxury, scenic drives, and the thrill of driving a brand-new Bentley.
