【Summary】The Tesla Cybertruck's frunk is shown in a new photo, revealing details such as the embedded logo and low load lip. It is the second-largest frunk among electric pickups, with a higher load height than a Model Y. The absence of a frunk hood liner suggests it may still be a release candidate unit. The Ford F-150 Lightning has the largest frunk, while the Rivian R1T has the highest loading level and an additional storage compartment.

The commercial launch of the Tesla Cybertruck is approaching its expected date this month. Numerous prototypes and release candidate units have been spotted across the country, building anticipation for the highly anticipated pickup.

A new photo posted on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum by user Old Spice provides our best look yet at the Cybertruck's open frunk. The image reveals interesting details such as the Cybertruck logo embedded on the back of the liner, which remains consistent with the logo shown during the pickup's initial reveal in 2019.

While the front trunk of Tesla's first-ever pickup is not the largest in the market, other notable features are visible. The load lip is practically nonexistent, making it easier to load heavy items. However, the load height appears higher compared to a Model Y, but this is expected due to the Cybertruck's larger and taller size. The air suspension setup may offer a loading mode that lowers the front end, facilitating frunk storage.

One detail worth mentioning is the absence of a frunk hood liner. It's possible that the photo shows a release candidate unit with some missing components, as deliveries have not yet begun.

Comparing the front trunks of electric pickups, the Ford F-150 Lightning has the largest frunk, followed by the Cybertruck, which offers a low lip. The Rivian R1T has the highest loading level among the three, but it also features the Gear Tunnel, an additional lockable storage compartment between the cabin area and the bed.
