The passenger door of the Chiron Super Sport Golden Era showcases 26 cars, including the legendary Type 41 Royale, which was hailed as the most luxurious car in the world upon its launch in 1926. Also featured is the Type 57 SC Atlantic, a personal favorite of Bugatti's former design director, Achim Anscheidt, who oversaw this remarkable project. On the driver's side, the 'modern' era of Bugatti is depicted, with sketches of the EB110, Veyron, and the Chiron itself.
In a nod to Bugatti's 16-cylinder engine, which has been a hallmark of the brand for the past two decades, the doors of the car are adorned with sketches of the 3712 components that make up the engine. Achim Anscheidt, who recently retired as Bugatti's chief designer, expressed his admiration for the creativity of their customers and the pride they take in bringing their dreams to life. He also noted that extensive special commissions like this one are exceedingly rare, with only one or two creations of this magnitude typically seen each year.
