2023 car releases

Looking for a new car in 2023? This comprehensive guide will provide you with all the information you need. We have compiled a list of the biggest model launches planned for the next 12 months, ranging from supercars to superminis, electric cars to V12s, and hybrids to hot hatchbacks.

This year, a significant portion of our list consists of electric cars. Are you considering making the switch to electric in 2023?

Cars arriving in August 2023

One of the notable arrivals in August is the Jeep Avenger, which will be Jeep's first electric vehicle. This compact SUV will feature a 54kWh battery, offering a range of up to 249 miles and the ability to charge at speeds of up to 100kW. The Avenger will be available in both single- and dual-motor versions, although specific power outputs have not been disclosed yet. Additionally, Jeep has plans to introduce three more electric models in Europe by 2025.

Cars arriving in September 2023

In September, the McLaren 750S will replace the 720S. This updated model will be available as both a coupé and a Spider. Power has been increased to 740bhp, and McLaren aims to set a new benchmark in the supercar segment with a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 579bhp per tonne. Furthermore, the 750S is the lightest series-production McLaren road car to date, weighing just 79kg more than the Senna hypercar.

The Peugeot 208 will also arrive in September with several notable updates. It features a more imposing grille, hypercar-inspired daytime-running lights, and the introduction of two hybrid powertrains. The electric e-208 variant has also received improvements, including a new motor and battery, resulting in increased range and efficiency.

Another Peugeot model arriving in September is the Peugeot 508. This elegant saloon receives similar updates to the 208 and 2008, with refreshed looks and significant interior upgrades. While there may be alternative options that are cheaper and better, the Peugeot 508 PSE PHEV offers an exhilarating driving experience with its old-school power delivery.

The new Peugeot 2008, set to arrive in September, features a style refresh and a modified powertrain lineup. The all-electric variant of the 2008 receives significant upgrades, and both petrol and electric power options will be available from launch. Furthermore, a hybrid variant is expected to be introduced in 2024. The electric Peugeot e-2008 model boasts a more powerful electric motor and a larger 54kWh battery, resulting in an 18% increase in power compared to its predecessor.
