Bugatti Chiron's Special Edition Honors Brand's Legacy

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Golden Era has been unveiled as a unique and meticulously adorned tribute to the prestigious history of the French luxury brand. This special edition, designed to cater to the desires of a highly esteemed customer, honors Bugatti's iconic W16 engine and the historic models that solidified the company's reputation as one of the world's most renowned luxury brands.

The car is adorned with a meticulously hand-drawn mural that showcases 45 historic Bugatti models. The creation of this mural required over 400 hours of painstaking work, a process that Bugatti itself describes as "extremely intimidating". The ink used for the mural was specifically developed for longevity, ensuring that it will last for the lifetime of the car.

The passenger door of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Golden Era features depictions of 26 cars, including the Type 41 Royale, which was hailed as the world's most luxurious car when it was launched in 1926. Additionally, the door showcases the Type 57 SC Atlantic, a personal favorite of Bugatti's former design director, Achim Anscheidt, who oversaw the creation of this special edition.

On the driver's side, the car pays homage to the "modern" era of Bugatti with sketches of the EB110, Veyron, and Chiron itself. Furthermore, as a tribute to Bugatti's 16-cylinder engine, which has been utilized for the past two decades, the doors of the car feature sketches of the 3712 components that make up the engine.

The entire car is elegantly colored in a two-tone Doré gold and Nocturne black. This combination further enhances the luxurious and sophisticated appearance of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Golden Era.

Achim Anscheidt, who recently retired from his role as Bugatti's chief designer, expressed his admiration for the creativity of Bugatti's customers. He stated, "Our customers can be incredibly creative, and we take great pride in helping them realize their dreams. However, extensive special commissions like this are exceedingly rare, with only one or two creations of this magnitude seen each year."
