2023 car releases

Looking for a new car in 2023? This comprehensive guide will help you get started. We've compiled a list of the biggest model launches planned for the next 12 months, ranging from supercars to superminis, electric cars to V12s, and hybrids to hot hatchbacks. This year, a significant portion of our list is dedicated to electric cars. Are you considering making the switch in 2023?

In August 2023, Jeep will be launching their first electric vehicle, the Avenger. As the smallest SUV they have produced, the Avenger will come with a 54kWh battery that offers a range of up to 249 miles and can charge at speeds of up to 100kW. It will be available in both single- and dual-motor versions, although specific power outputs have not been disclosed. Following the Avenger, Jeep has plans to introduce three more electric models to Europe by 2025.

September 2023 will see the arrival of the McLaren 750S, which will replace the 720S. This updated model will be available in both coupé and Spider variants. With an increased power output of 740bhp, McLaren aims to set a new benchmark in the supercar segment. The 750S boasts a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 579bhp per tonne and is the lightest series-production McLaren road car to date, weighing just 79kg more than the Senna hypercar.

Peugeot has exciting launches planned for 2023 as well. The updated Peugeot 208 features a more imposing grille, hypercar-inspired daytime-running lights, and the introduction of two hybrid powertrains. The electric e-208 has also received upgrades with a new motor and battery, resulting in increased range and efficiency.

The Peugeot 508, a handsome saloon, has undergone similar updates to the 208 and 2008 models. It boasts refreshed looks and significant interior improvements. While there may be cheaper alternatives available, the Peugeot 508 PSE PHEV offers an exhilarating driving experience with old-school power delivery.

The new Peugeot 2008 has received a style refresh and a modified powertrain lineup. The all-electric variant of the 2008 has seen significant upgrades, and both petrol and electric power options will be available from launch. Additionally, a hybrid variant is set to arrive in 2024. The electric Peugeot e-2008 model now features a more powerful electric motor and a larger 54kWh battery, delivering an 18% increase in power compared to its predecessor.
