Copart UK has recently opened a 10-acre site in Staffordshire, which will increase its vehicle storage capacity in the West Midlands by 15%. This new site in Hixon, Staffordshire, will provide storage for an additional 7,000 vehicles per year.

This announcement comes after Copart's recent investments in land, including new sites in Corby (Northamptonshire) and East Kilbride (Scotland), as well as expansions at their Operation Centres in Rochford, Sandtoft, Westbury, and Wisbech.

Jane Pocock, the CEO of Copart UK & Ireland, expressed her excitement about the increased storage capacity in the West Midlands. She highlighted the company's ongoing reinvestment strategy into land, transport, services, and technology. Pocock emphasized the importance of expanding storage capacity due to the diverse UK car parc and the increasing occurrence of extreme weather events, particularly during the winter months. She also reiterated Copart's commitment to developing and expanding their operational network across the UK, ensuring close proximity to communities and customers for efficient and environmentally friendly vehicle collection, handling, and storage.
