Cybertruck tire size, body finish, and suspension details revealed in close-up shots.
【Summary】The Tesla Cybertruck's tire size, adjustable suspension, and scratch-resistant steel body finish have been revealed in close-up shots. The first production units are being loaded and shipped from Giga Texas. The Cybertruck features a stainless steel finish that is both scratch-resistant and allows for easy self-repairs. It has a 285/65R20 winter tire size and adjustable air suspension for varying ground clearance.
The Tesla Cybertruck is generating excitement as production units are being shipped out of Giga Texas. These units, known as Release Candidates, have been captured in spy shots and videos, providing a closer look at the details of Tesla's first electric pickup.
One of the standout features of the Cybertruck is its stainless steel finish, which Tesla's chief designer Franz von Holzhausen claims is scratch-resistant. This durable finish not only maintains its appearance but also allows owners to easily repair any deeper grooves.
Tesla's website states that the Cybertruck is constructed with an "Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin." Additionally, the steel used in the Cybertruck's body is produced by Steel Dynamic Inc., as mentioned in the Peterson Museum exhibit.
During the process of loading a Cybertruck onto a trailer for shipment, closeup shots were taken, revealing further details. These shots showcase the tonneau cover, the tire size (285/65R20 winter tires), and even provide a glimpse of the shock absorber system by peering into the wheel well.
The Cybertruck is expected to feature adjustable air suspension, allowing it to raise or lower its ride height as needed. This feature was recently demonstrated when a Cybertruck was seen alongside a Rivian R1T. With a maximum lift mode offering 16-inch clearance, the Cybertruck is designed with generous approach and departure angles (35 degrees and 28 degrees, respectively) to facilitate traversing various obstacles.
As the Cybertruck continues to generate interest, accessories such as the 48A Tesla Wall Connector with a 24" cable can be purchased on Amazon.
