Discounts offered by luxury car brands in October
【Summary】Luxury car brands like Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Volvo are offering significant discounts on their models in October. Audi is offering discounts of up to VND300 million on various models, while Mercedes is providing discounts of 6-10% on certain locally assembled models and 3% on imports. Mercedes is also subsidizing registration fees for locally made vehicles. Volvo is offering to cover half the cost of registration for most models.
Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Volvo have recently reduced their prices in Vietnam by significant amounts. These price cuts range from hundreds of millions of dong to attract more customers. For example, Audi is offering discounts on various models such as the A4, A6, A8L, Q2, Q3, Q5, Q5 Sportback, Q7, A7 Sportback, and Q8, with discounts of up to VND300 million.
Similarly, Mercedes is providing discounts of 6-10% on locally assembled models like the C-class and E-class, and 3% on imported models such as the GLB and GLS. The C-class, which originally costs between VND1.599-2.099 billion, is now available with a discount of 6%, equivalent to VND95-125 million. Additionally, Mercedes is also subsidizing registration fees for locally made vehicles, which can be quite expensive, especially in cities like HCMC and Hanoi.
In the case of Volvo, the company is willing to cover half the cost of registration for all models, except for the V60 Cross Country line where they pay the full fee. This is an attractive offer for potential buyers who are considering purchasing a Volvo vehicle.
Truong Hai, a BMW distributor, is also offering significant discounts on their vehicles. The prices of the X5, Series 5, Series X3, and Series 3 have been reduced by VND160 million, VND80 million, VND70 million, and VND50 million respectively. These discounts make BMW vehicles more affordable and appealing to customers.
Despite these price cuts and attractive offers, luxury car distributors have noted that demand in October is still lower compared to the same period last year. Analysts also predict that vehicle sales in Vietnam will not reach the same level as last year's figure of 500,000 units. However, these discounts and subsidies may help stimulate the market and encourage more people to consider purchasing a luxury car.
