Motor shows are always unique, but occasionally there is one that stands out as a significant moment for the industry. The recent show in Munich gave us a glimpse into how some of our favorite models will evolve for the electric age.

Volkswagen showcased their next-gen GTI, which is based on their baby ID.2 concept. With its innovative design and front-differential technology, this small EV promises to be genuinely fun.

MINI, on the other hand, presented a cuter and more premium-looking Cooper hatch. Along with a more integrated tech and a circular screen, the competitive pricing of this compact EV makes it an attractive option.

BMW's Neue Klasse took a more radical approach with a funky-looking saloon. This design is a departure from the current 3 Series and is expected to indirectly replace it in just a few years. The BMW design team believes they have made a significant leap forward with this model.

Renault also made a bold move by reimagining the traditional silhouette of the Scenic. The result is a vehicle that offers the same space and practicality as before but with zero emissions and a distinctive profile.

Interestingly, Tesla chose this moment to introduce the facelifted Model 3. While there are no major revolutions, the updated styling, increased range, and cabin upgrades demonstrate the progress this disruptor has made over traditional brands.
