MINI 5-Door Hatch receives futuristic rendering

Following the confirmation of a next-generation MINI 5-Door Hatch, rendering artist Theophilus Chin has created renders of what this model might look like. Using the latest MINI Cooper Electric as a base, Chin stretched the vehicle's body and made adjustments to the doors, windows, and pillars to match the 5-Door Hatch design cues from the recently revealed three-door model.

While the current 5-Door Hatch does not offer an electric powertrain option, it is expected that the next model will have separate platforms for fully electric and internal combustion engine versions, similar to the new 3-Door model. MINI has already announced two electric variants of the latest 3-Door, the Cooper E and SE, which provide up to 218 PS, 330 Nm, and an electric vehicle range of up to 402 km. It remains to be seen if the next 5-Door will have the same options or improved ones to account for its larger body and potential additional weight.

In terms of the interior, the next 5-Door is anticipated to feature the same retro-inspired design as the 3-Door. This includes a large circular OLED touchscreen on the dashboard that serves as both a control center for various vehicle functions and a speedometer. Although it will still be some time before the all-new 5-Door is unveiled, these renders offer a glimpse of what to expect.
