【Summary】The Continental Kaluga tyre manufacturing facility in Russia has been renamed LLC Cordiant Kaluga after being acquired by holding company S8 Capital. The new legal name came into effect on 17 August 2023, and the business will focus on tyre production at the former Continental plant in Kaluga.

With the acquisition of Continental AG's assets in Russia by S8 Capital, the tyre manufacturing facility in Kaluga has been rebranded as Cordiant Kaluga. The name change became effective on August 17, 2023. Cordiant Kaluga will primarily focus on tyre production at the former Continental plant, located approximately 100 miles southwest of Moscow.
