If you're looking to ride in style even after you're gone, Italian company Biemme Special Cars has transformed the Rolls-Royce Ghost into an extravagant hearse. Retaining the sedan's signature rear-hinged doors and luxurious interior, Biemme has added a spacious coffin compartment to the vehicle.

Creating an elegant hearse is no easy task, but the Ghost-based model, aptly named the Ghoster, boasts a sleek design. From the front bumper to the upper part of the windshield, it closely resembles the regular-production Ghost. However, it features a distinctive upward-sloping roof panel painted in the same color as the hood, large side windows with a bright frame, and an elongated wheelbase. Biemme achieved this by expanding the Ghost's body using a tubular structure covered with steel panels.

The passenger compartment of the Ghoster resembles that of the standard Ghost, with the level of luxury depending on the customization options chosen. Standard features include wood interior trim, leather upholstery, and Biemme even offers a 1,300-watt sound system, because apparently, you might need that in a hearse. Additional options include a built-in drink cooler, Starlight headliner, internet connectivity, LED interior lighting, and curtains for the rear doors.

Biemme has separated the passenger and coffin compartments with a shatter-proof divider. They have also added a power-operated platform and LED lighting in the coffin area, while ensuring the same wood trim and leather upholstery used in the passenger compartment are present for a cohesive design.

No mechanical modifications specific to the hearse have been made. Powering the Ghoster is a 6.7-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing 563 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Despite the additional weight from the hearse conversion, the Ghoster should still offer respectable acceleration.

Pricing for the Ghoster has not yet been announced by Biemme. To provide some context, the standard Rolls-Royce Ghost starts at approximately $350,000.
