Jaguar F-Type's Final Hurrah: Another Special Edition
【Summary】Jaguar is releasing a special edition of the F-Type called the ZP Edition before production ends in 2024. Only 150 will be made, featuring color combinations from historic E-Type racing cars. The ZP Edition will have special touches like a white grille surround, unique trim, and badges. All models will come with a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 575 horsepower and all-wheel drive.
Jaguar is saying goodbye to the F-type with another special-edition model called the ZP Edition. This special edition is part of the automaker's plan to transition to an electric lineup, as the F-type will be the last gas-powered sports car from Jaguar.
The ZP Edition is inspired by racing cars from the past, specifically the historic E-type racing cars. Only 150 of these special editions will be built before production officially ends next year. The ZP Editions will be available in both coupe and convertible body styles.
The first color combination for the ZP Edition features an Oulton Blue exterior with a red and black leather interior. The second color combination is a Crystal Gray exterior hue with a navy blue and black interior. These special editions also feature white roundels on the doors, similar to old racing cars.
Additional special touches for the F-type ZP cars include a white grille surround, special trim for the leather seats, and badges for the wheels, fenders, side sill plates, and dashboard. Each ZP model will have a plaque denoting it as 1 of 150.
All ZP models will be equipped with the F-type's top powertrain, which is a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 575 horsepower. This powertrain is paired with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
